#27th post!

Haha when I first logged in (in a gazillion years), it said "last post, published Oct 1 2009", how sad ):

It's been so long since this blog was updated, and alicia was the one updating. sorry alicia! i guess everyone's busy. Sec 4 has really been like, hmm, hectic and stressful for most of us. well, at least i know its true for me.

there's like this never-ending pile of work waiting to be done. and it's always there ):

i guess they'll be cleared by the end of the year when all the Os and exams all over. that's sth happy to think about, but then it'll mean that we'll be leaving our schools for JC/poly whichever.. and then it'll mean a complete new start.

A new school. New friends. New teachers. Somewhere unfamiliar that we'll have to adapt all over again. Dont be mistaken, this post isnt supposed to be emo and sad. but it's just that, wellllll. time seemed to pass so quickly.

like, just not long ago, we had stc.

yupp. it didnt seem very long ago.

atc didnt seem very long ago either.

But its like, two years already?!

how fast O:

and when we graduate this year, we'll most likely forget details of stuff which happened in secondary school. so yup, before i forget that i was actually once part of such an awesomely-fun group, i really want to thank you guys for making STC such a wonderful memory for me ((:

okay, yuppppp i should go do my work now eeeewww school is restarting in less than a week :/

sorry i couldn't make it more the 2nd outing, i hope you all had fun :D.
so nicole and i was discussing about having chalet at the end of the year. So this are some plans we have if we are having one.

We actually have 4 choices:
Coasta Sands(Downtown East)
Coasta Sands(Pasir Ris)
Aranda Country Club
Aloha Resorts.

so the details of each chalet before you decide.

Coasta Sands(Downtown East)
$80 per night, off peak

Fully air-conditioned

Twin beds with 2 pull-out beds

Attached bathroom

Television Set

DVD Player

Refrigerator

Hot Water Flask

Towels

--if we are getting this, we plan to book 2 rooms to separate the guys and girls at night, although if you all don't mind sharing(and saving), we can always squeeze into 1 room(4beds).--

Pros:
It's right inside downtown east so we'll have lots of things to do there - ehub, arcade, movie, bowling, k-box, mac, KFC etc etc.
Small, cosy AND cheap. Fully air-con too.

Cons:
If we book 1 room it might be too small for many people (which i doubt so anyway)
No separate rooms so have to book 2 if we want separate room.

Coasta Sands Pasir Ris
I can't get the price on the net. but i'm guessing around $100++ - $130++.

i'm not sure who have aranda membership, but nicole's mum have NTUC membership.

YAY BARNEY OUTING #2! :D nicole, alicia, jiayuan, jonas, amelia. :D fun fun.

Met at 8am at bedok mrt. me and alicia are half an hour early (as usual LOL!) jonas was on time the rest was late wahahah! i think barney has the earliest outings ever O: then we found our way around to east coast park some way some how. :D then we passed this super spooky looking underpass! that kind that appears in horror movie! O: LOL! then i took at photo :D LOL!

The rental shops werent open D: so we walked around and hobo until we came to this shop that opened early! :D $10 for 4h :D haha. took grp photo :D then we started blading! blading is so much better than skating! :DD i feel more confident~ haha maybe because i spent hell lot of money learning in pri sch haha then grpmates started falling on their butts so scary O: haha jonas and alicia hope ur butts gt well soon! xD lalala i zai mah fall properly on knee guard :D LOL! coming to the end keep falling dno why D: either too fast/too tired/my stupid bag keep throwing me off balance! D:

anyway, sadly jiayuan couldnt rollerblade coz of her injury so she was riding a bike and helping us up the slopes and stuff! thanks jiayuan! esp waiting for us :D LOL! after some time...of blading and finding our way around LOL! we finally got to macs! :D then we drank milo and stuff while jonas have his brunch o.o anyway. haha so cool! blading while ordering food hehe! :D anyway~

after eating and talking abt stuff like i dno :X homework...how sch sucks oh! and about playgrounds, hdbs and our home, we went blading again! but then jiayuan returned her bike coz she have to leave earlier! so we decided not to be evil and sit down hobo :D so we talked abt random stuff again like having barney end of the yr chalet and how we should persuade our parents to let us go lalala~

then jiayuan left D: then we bladed in search of playground but in the end didnt find one! so its back to hoboing~ then we found some place for drinks and hoboing. haha then talk crap again...then return skates! my feet was cramping again! D: rawr. next time please remind me to stretch first. always happen. damn irritating. ah well...

we went to the rocky cliff area and hobo again. everywhr also hobo :D LOL! haha but its kinda fun :D LOL! anyway. we tried amelia's skateboard again! haha. then it started raining then me, amelia, alicia rushed through the rain to gt to mrt. haha quite funny. jonas stayed to join the noobs' outing. haha.

BARNEY OUTING #2 :D

okay barney outing was epic fail):
only 4 girls and 1 guy turned up.
Right, makes 5 of us.
Out of total strength 18. (so nicole, I dont think chalet would be a good ideaD:)

OKAY, BUT FAIL WAS ONLY THE PART ABOUT THE NO. OF PEOPLE.
THIS OUTING WAS SUPERRR FUN:D

I was 10 mins late by the time i reached Bedok MRT station):
so sorry to those waiting D:
then we went to the bus interchange and met melia there. she's awesome, live near bedok still can be late hahahah(: haha melia, im kidding:D

so the five of us,
me, melia, nicole, alicia, and our poor solo guy, jonas, took a bus which we didnt even know where to alight, to EAST COAST PARK (yes, again, consecutivelyD:) guess what, we managed to reach there! AND TO MY HORROR, it was drizzling! I think I got a phobia of raining in East Coast already (cause of yesterday's class outing!)

but we still continued renting stuff(: i rented a bike, and the rest of them rollerbladed :D it was so fun, although there was 5 pathetic people only): we hobo-ed (i just learnt it!:D) around after wandering along the park. the drizzle stopped:D

then jonas suggested going to KFC to eat, at around ten plus i think. (OH, speaking of him suggesting, I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED MEETING AT 8AM -.- and guess what, some bike shops arent even open at 9 plus!) oh, then the KFC area had loads of slopesD: bad for rollerbladers. yup, when we finally reached there, we realised that it wasnt even open-.- then we went to macs instead :D i ate an apple pie:D very nice and crispy! It was the second time in my life eating one hahah. then i returned my bike cause two hours were up, and then i walked while they rollerbladed. hahah good exercise, but my leg hurts): then i had to go soon and we sat on the stone chairs near the bbq pit area and continued hobo-ing and talking (: haha then i left and they went to the playground how fun):

okay i dont know what happened in the end cause i left first :D

HELLO ! :D

ok i know this is very last minute ..

IF there is outing on monday (youth day holiday) who will be able to make it for the outing ? (: i mean, i know it's the last day of the long weekend and we're all busy with homework, schoolwork and whatever stuff, but i think it'll be fun if maybe we can spend the late morning at east coast park !
does anyone know how to get to east coast park ? O: if not is it ok to go to pasir ris instead ? since its easier to get there (as in, at least i know that i know how to go)

so yeah, here's the plan .

venue : east coast park / pasir ris (please vote !)

meeting point : east coast park / pasir ris mrt (if we're going pasir ris)

time to meet : 9.30am ! (the fresh air in the morning is good for you and blah and yeah morning sun is good :D)

what we can do : well, we can ride bike, rollerblade (can rent) sit around and hobo and talk, eat junkfood etc etc . in short just spend time together la :D and we won't spend as much as the previous outing i swear ! we can have lunch together :D or, you can bring your homework and we can all rack our brains and sian diao and do work while hobo-ing :D

time it will end : around 2.30pm - 3pm ! you guys can stay later if you want, but nicole and i have cip at yishun at 4.30pm, so we got to rush back to yishun for the cip ! so yes, you can have the rest of the day to complete your homework and stuff :X

so please please please SMS ALICIA to reply if you are going and if you are, east coast/pasir ris ! i'll be sms-ing you guys later . and then i'll make changes to the schedule accordingly . 'cause if the response is low, i guess i'll have to cancel the outing ! so yeah ..

for those of you that have alot alot of homework undone, its really understandable lah, so if you really can't make it, don't force yourself to come :D (not like you would feel like coming with so much things to do in the first place anyway - -)

and nicole isn't OT due to problems so yeah don't sms / call her about this outing 'cause she's abit stressed and stuff so yeah, fuse abit short .

so yeah, would greatly appreciate your co-operation & stuff .

How's school!
Term 3 is a busy period for all of us I think, with projects, exams, orals and so on, so everyone must jiayou :D I'm doing chem homework now, and IM STUCK, like for ages already D: Oh well, nevermind, must learn to be patient. Anyway, I really don't understand the teachers. Why must they make us do e-learning when our holidays are not even extended? AND drawing dot-and-cross diagrams using the computer is not an easy thing! AND the bonds are so cheam somemore HOW TO DRAW -.- Okay sorry, I just needed a place to rant (and I'm lazy to post on my blog). HELLO !
we had outing ONE today ! :D and it went great .
i'm supposedly the one that's supposed to blog about it O:
we did quite alot of things today !
well, alicia, nicole, ezor, jonas, hoekang, zhirong and jingzhan turned up .

well, i woke up at 7am and left the house at 8.15am blah and met nicole at bishan and we ended up 30mins early at kallang O: and as nicole says on her blog, "Alicia's time estimation is damn screwed. She left house super early and I had to run to to the mrt"

so we went to look around to see what time the shuttle service come and realised it starts at 11.30am ! which isn't a good thing 'cause we're like, meeting at 10am . so i went to take my breakfast at Mr. Bean and asked the aunty how to get to Kallang Leisure Park :D and she told us to take bus number 11 .

well everyone was rather on time .. except hoekang O: who was super late ! so we took bus11 there first . and we were still rather early so we stoned around infront of the cinema waiting for the arcade to open ! jonas and ezor danced x.x and then we went to play arcade games ! well it was rather sad they didn't have house of the dead 4 and nicole wouldn't play with me D: but well . we played the drums thing together in the end . and i beat jingzhan in the hand sensor para para thing :D TOP scorer leh ! well . hoekang came and they went to eat kfc . and after we finished arcade-ing it was lunch time so we had lunch at kfc before going to iceskate :D

well, I KNOW I EAT VERY SLOWLY . but don't have to niao right D: im naturally a slow eater . but well . when i finally finished, me and nicole went to the toilet and then when we came out the guys were still at kfc so i decided to spend $2 trying to get the stitch toy and i got it on the 2nd try ! HOORAY ! :D and i know nicole loves me for it .

then we went iceskating ! omg super expensive yah ! well, quote nicole "at first everyone except hoekang was holding the sides. then after some time everyone could skate :D yay! zhirong in the end also can skate." so yeh ! super fun yah ! we met 2 other nanyang girls ! enting and xin er (i think) enting came up to me and was like, HELLO ! and i was like, omg ! and xin er was random . haha nicole and i were slacking at the side and she came up and was like, "nanyang right ?" and we became friends after that LOL . the way jingzhan iceskate is SCARY . he looks like he's going to fall but in the end he doesn't . lol . and jonas can sprint ! wow . so in the end everyone fell once except for nicole and i and they were trying to make the both of us fall . so we made a deal if they fell together, i'll fall . and they did . "haha alicia made a promise that if they form a circle and fall tgther then she will fall. haha! in the end the guys fell in one straight line haha. pure entertainment." so i had to fall and SOMEONE pushed me D: and i fell flat face on the floor 'cause nicole's gloves slipped when i tried to fall with my hands on the floor D: but oh well ! i've got a nice wound to show off ! it looks like a handprint yo !

then we wanted to watch a movie ! but the cinema at kallang didn't have nice shows at nice time slots so we took a bus to city area ! ok, we walked to the bus stop and had to look at the sign to see what bus to take, then there's this lady sitting infront of the sign so we crowded around her and she got quite pissed and went away with the sha-ren-de-yan-shen . then later we end up taking the same bus and she sat infront of nicole and i and she kept turning back to stare at us and the guys LOLOL . she can really ji chou manzcx .

haha next year if we have outing, we'll watch a movie on 18 march (HOLIDAY!) and then hoekang and i can go enjoy nc16 shows while the rest of you guys go watch pg LOLOL . walked to the cathay and then found out that the shows are like, either selling fast or sold or at weird timings D: so now more $6 movies . so we wanted to know if the GV at Plaza Sing had tix or not so i called my mum and she got pissed at me . haha so we had to walk there . and decided to watch 'Drag Me to Hell' . my god GV tix are expensive man ! $10 . but i got 'em at $8 . ohwell . then we went to carefour to buy snacks (typical of HC we realised LOLOL) well we wanted to buy rice and cook it with solid fuel at the cinema lol (JK !) and they tempted me with gummy worms and chocolate D: but i didn't buy any ! in the end nicole and i shared popcorn and we each had a drink :D

so we went to watch the show ! my god, i paid $8 to scare my ass and laugh it off later . - - we were splitted into 2 rows in the middle, better than one row in front lah D: the screen was sorta tilted upwards LOL ! the show was uh, NOT BAD . better than coffin anyway . at least it was really horror . ok, not that horror but still . what can you expect from pg horror . and well . i was being a bad person and putting my leg on the chair of the person infront of me . well, normal la D: quote nicole "sitting whr i was sitting is dangerous can O: alicia cross left leg. ezor cross right leg. then both drinks spilling towards me. then suddenly jonas throw potato chips at me -.- LOL! then ezor accidentally tilted the popcorn thingy at me. wlao eh" so yes ! haha the movie was abit freaky la . my god the old lady is just epic scary . i thought she was frail but walau, she stalked the girl and attacked her in the carpark and broke the glass window and i was like, wtf . and after she die she still don't fang qi one . lol . and throughout the remaining 7/8 of the show i was covering my face with my np jacket's hood and laughing 'cause it's just so funny . seriously, when the guy was possessed and starting dancing about, he reminded me of JONAS . and there were weird commentries from jonas and ezor and both of them were gay-ing around hugging each other and stuff O:

and after that we went to the mrt 'cause well, we all seem to have huge holes in our pocket except for nicole . rich kid O: and i went for dinner with nicole and couldn't finish my noodles .

let's count how much we all spent today !
arcade : idk how much you guys spent, but i think i spent .. $6 .
lunch : mine was $6 .
iceskating : $16.50
movie : $8
snacks : about $5 each ? idk .
total : $35.50 roughly .
and that's ALOT .
hey guys, sorry for burning a big hole in your pockets ok .
maybe we shouldn't have went to watch the movie D:

i agree that we should organise outing before schools reopen. well, we will all be REALLY REALLY busy after school starts.

since i have no idea how's your schedule.. you can just leave a message in the tagboard and i'll try to change to accomodate all of you ;)

ok, barney wasn't added in very well, but when i have the time, i'll do a better job on barney and then edit that photoshop-ed file :D

Really, thanks to all of you for making my STC so fun and awesome:D I didnt enjoy it at first but grew to like it more and more and now i keep thinking about it that i cant do any work arghhhh. one more week to school reopen, jiayou guys(:

Haha really by the end of the camp I only had this conclusion about our group: that the only interesting we do is burn ants and gay around LOL. yay welcome to barney's first post. i basically just koped from my own blog and edit it.

STC is over.

It's the last camp with Area 15, Nanyang, Hwachong, SJI, ACSB, RGS, SMSS, QSS and new member, BHSS. Haha. I'm sure they fit in really well since we are all so crappy haha.

Thanks to all my wonderful barney groupmates for the wonderful time together :D in random order: myself :D (LOL!), alicia, amelia, jiayuan, rosie, farah, ezor, jonas, hoekang, dingquan, jingzhan, zhirong, kaiyuan, timothy, javier, andre, james, farid, and lastly CI kangjing sir! :D

The things that I didnt say during the camps. A whole bunch of it. LOL.

Thanks to everyone who jiayou-ed me for IRC! haha. I know I was very slow. Thanks to sqdms! Thanks to the barney guys, although you all are quite irritating sometimes, thanks for encouraging and being so patient haha! :D it was appreciated. :D

Also feel apologetic to some of the guys because I might sound quite demanding sometimes. Seriously. I cant get you guys to move lah. LOL! good in a sense. bad in another. Well the thing is, i dont usually work with guys. So i suck at persuading guys. So yah. Sorry if I sounded demanding which I think I did at some point or another. Like yelling 'We got alot of time is it?!' during campfire prac. Sorry!

I dont know how I should type this post. Recollection of what happened or just reflections. Oh well simple recollection bah.

Day 1:

Group Self-intro (BARNEY :D). Icebreakers. Land ex. Camp opening. Pitch tent. Lunch. Some Stuff. Campfire prac. Dinner.

Life-chart. Heard the other groups had a lot to say but our group was lazing around and irritating each other.

Night walk. Hmmm. think that I should have been more responsible and keep the group together. some guys were kidnapped because they were away from the group. haha though the 'trying to get sticks and man' part was quite high xD nice try guys.

Debrief. Lights out. Cant sleep properly. Whole female campsite. Only one watch. That's mine. Win. LOL.

Day 2:

Wake up. PT. Breakfast.

Intermediate Rope Challenge (IRC). LOL didnt realise how scared I was until I was standing up there :/ Lol. Oh well. Thanks for the encouragement everyone! :D

Lunch.

Food comp. haha yay barney won :D working with everyone else was really fun :D though the milo crumble thingy looked weird..thanks to everyone who dared to try it. haha. xD Thanks to the guys for setting up the fire and stuff. Thanks to the girls for the 'mudpie-look-alike' desert haha and alicia puah! who tried her best with the sweet potatoes haha!

Jetty jump. Wash up. Dinner. Campfire prac. Sec 2s arrival.

Campfire! :D i learnt that its impossible to shut jonas up. lmao. two years of experience sitting beside him during campfire.

Debrief. Lights out. My watch. Sigh.

Day 3:

Wake up. PT. Breakfast. Unpitch tents. Area Cleaning (yay! under 40 mins). Debrief. Free time. Hike out. End of STC'09.

Somehow I'm kind of sad about the idea of last camp with Area 15. I miss STC. :/ let's organise barney outing sometime soon :D
